.5ozGiffard Creme de Peche
.25ozDemerara Simple SyrupRegular simple syrup works fine as well
2dashesAngostura Bitters
2 dashesOrinoco BittersOPTIONAL
Instructions
Combine all ingredients into mixing glass with handful of ice
Stir until well chilled (approx 40 stirs)
Strain into rocks glass into big cube
Garnish with orange peel or dehydrated peach if you want to get really pretentious.
Notes
This is a great old fashioned recipe for someone who doesn't normally like them. It's still boozy and spirit forward, but the peach adds a bit of a sweeter flavor that can make it easier for a whiskey virgin.
